The Greater Good Project is a non-profit community interest company based in Rossendale, Lancashire. Our mission is to enhance and make a difference to people’s lives by addressing various needs within the community.

Through a variety of workshops, projects, and events The Greater Good Project will promote positive health and well-being through creativity and the arts.

  • Improve mental and physical health and well-being
  • Create positive social interactions
  • Improve confidence and self esteem
  • Promote goodwill, kindness, and compassion
  • Nurture, inspire and empower

Community is everything

Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.

The Greater Good Project want to help address any needs (great or small) in the local community that are not currently being met.

A Brew For You
Coffee Afternoon

A Brew For You Coffee Afternoons run every Friday afternoon during term time.


These drop in sessions are free of charge and a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy free refreshments.

 Everyone will be made most welcome.

1pm-2.30pm at St Peter’s Community Centre Haslingden.

Free & Easel Art Workshops

 

Fancy trying something new? 

Why not come along to our FREE community art sessions?

All abilities welcome and free refreshments provided too.

Every Tuesday 10am-11.30am at St Peters Community Centre, Haslingden.
 

Creative Writing Sessions

 

The Write Time is on every Thursday 1pm-2.15pm at St Peters Community Centre.

Everyone welcome and no previous experience needed as workshops are for all abilities .

Free refreshments provided.

Friday Fun Nights 

Friday Fun Nights  are for children and young people aged 6-16 years old.


If your child or teen would benefit from fun, energetic sessions that concentrate on building confidence and self esteem then look no further.

£10 per session
Second Friday of every month at St Peter’s Community Centre
 6-11 years (primary) 5pm-5.30pm

12-16 years (secondary) 6.30pm-8pm

Care homes

The Greater Good Project CIC are currently running free interactive sessions within care and nursing homes in Rossendale and Burnley.

These sessions are free of charge (donations welcome)  so if you know any homes that would benefit just ask them to contact us.

Bringing about the Greater Good!

0-4 years workshops

Paws & Claws is a fun, interactive, live session for children aged 0-4 years. 

Join Shaun and Cath at St Veronicas Church Hall every Friday 10.30am for lots of singing, dancing, puppetry and games.

£6 per child/£3 sibling/£3 under 12 months/£3 childminder rate
